# Daily use

Players just chat — everything reaches every server and Discord automatically. The things below are optional extras.

## Sharing things in chat

Type these anywhere in a message:

* `[item]` — shows the item you're holding, with its full tooltip.
* `[inv]` — shares a summary of your inventory.
* `[ender]` — shares a summary of your ender chest.

## Linking your Discord

1. Run `/link` in-game — you get a short code (valid 5 minutes).
2. Send that code to the network bot in a Discord DM (or post it in the `#link` channel if your community has one — it auto-deletes).
3. Done. If your community hands out a role for linked members, you get it automatically.

Changed your mind? `/unlink` removes the link.

## Quiet mode

`/ctoggle` hides network chat for you until you run it again. Your own server's local chat is never affected.

## Server tags

Every message carries its origin community's colored tag, like `[EMER]` — hover it in-game to see the community's full name. Messages from Discord additionally show a Discord marker so you always know where someone is talking from.
