# Commands & permissions

## Commands

| Command                    | Does                                                              | Needs            |
| -------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------- |
| `/guide`                   | Opens the guide on its first page                                 | `mdguide.use`    |
| `/guide <page>`            | Opens that page, like `/guide towns`                              | `mdguide.use`    |
| `/guide reload`            | Reads the pages, `style.css`, `sidebar.md` and `config.yml` again | `mdguide.reload` |
| `/guide config`            | The plugin's own settings, in a window                            | `mdguide.reload` |
| `/guide edit`              | A link to edit the guide in your browser                          | `mdguide.editor` |
| `/guide apply <code>`      | Saves what the editor gave you a code for                         | `mdguide.editor` |
| `/guide trust <code>`      | Trusts the browser showing that code; the chat button runs it     | `mdguide.editor` |
| `/guide settings [plugin]` | Lists another plugin's settings, ready to put on a page           | `mdguide.edit`   |

Typing `/guide` and a space suggests your pages, and `edit`, `config`, `reload` and `settings` to whoever may use them.

## Permissions

| Permission       | Lets a player                              | Default   |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------ | --------- |
| `mdguide.use`    | Open the guide                             | Everyone  |
| `mdguide.reload` | Reload the guide and change its settings   | Operators |
| `mdguide.editor` | Edit the guide in a browser                | Operators |
| `mdguide.edit`   | Change other plugins' settings from a page | Operators |
